What is a TAD?
A TAD is something you're "thinking about doing" — a spontaneous plan you share with friends. It could be a coffee run, a hike, a dinner, or anything you want to do together.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Profile tab, tap Settings, and select "Delete Account." This permanently removes all your data, including photos, events, and friend connections.
How do I control who sees my profile?
In Settings, you can set your profile visibility to Public, Friends Only, or Private. You can also control which individual fields are visible and whether you appear in search results.
Do my direct messages disappear?
Yes. Direct messages between friends are ephemeral and automatically deleted after 24 hours.
What permissions does TAD need?
TAD requests camera access (for photos), location (for check-ins and nearby spots), photo library (for selecting images), and notifications (for event updates). All permissions are optional and can be changed in your device settings.
How do I exercise my GDPR or CCPA rights?
Email us at privacy@tad.app with your request. For account deletion, you can also use the in-app option in Settings.
